Megan Rigione
Megan is a big help on Saturday barn days and works many more hours than is necessary! She is always willing to help beginners tack up and get ready for their lessons. Megan is patient teaching beginner Troopers about horses, too.
Hayley Sayewitz
Hayley always volunteers to help out on barn day. She is willing to take on any barn job that is asked of her, and is great assisting the younger troopers. Hayley is very friendly and we are always glad to see her!
Annika Strivastava
Annika is very kind and pleasant to be around. She has a great attitude and is always cheerful even when doing barn chores. Annika has a great work ethic and does an awesome job helping others.
Emily Oh
Emily is a new member of the Troop Leadership Council. She is always willing to help out and is devoted to Troop. Emily is a hard worker and is always kind to all of her fellow troopers. We can count on Emily!
Hanna Vossler
Hanna is also new to TLC and is a great help around the barn! She is extremely organized and knows exactly what needs to get done. Hanna also always has a very positive attitude!

Dede Bazaar
Dede always comes to barn day happy and ready to work. She works super hard without complaint, does whatever is asked of her, and loves to do new jobs, especially those with a horse involved! Dede works well with everyone and is a pleasure to be around.
Georgia Stewart
Georgia always puts in extra time after her Saturday lesson to help with barn day, and she does a great job every time. Georgia helps with lessons and turnout, and she makes sure the tack room is clean. She is a very hard worker and she likes to have fun around the barn!
Lauren Hanny
Lauren is a tremendous help on Saturday barn days. She keeps things in order and makes sure everything is organized. Lauren is especially good with beginner riders – she is always ready to help a frustrated new rider with tacking up, and she gives them lots of confidence going into the ring.
Libby Hinshaw
Libby was nominated because she is extremely responsible and an even harder worker. Libby is always willing to LEND a helping hand, no matter what the job is. She sets a great example for everyone on her barn day.
Chris Joyce
Chris is always the first person to volunteer to substitute for someone if they cannot make their barn day. He makes the barn a welcoming place with his (sometimes corny) jokes and everyone has a great time working with him!
Devin McLean
Devin is wonderful to be around. She oversees everyone to ensure that troopers are doing their jobs. Devin makes all troopers feel welcome at the barn and creates an enjoyable environment around her.

Amanda Bauersfeld
Amanda puts a lot of care into everything she does at Troop. She loves helping the younger Troopers and always makes sure everyone is having fun. Amanda is loved by everyone at Troop. We especially enjoy watching her reactions to the birds swooping down around her!
Riley Bazaar
Riley displays an outstanding level of help and commitment toward her Saturday shift. She is always kind and willing to help those in need of assistance. From the time she arrives each day, Riley has a smile on her face and she never backs down from hard work!
Alexi Goodman
Alexi is one of the most wonderful and kind Troopers we have! No matter how much work needs to be done, Alexi makes sure to keep it fun while getting the job finished. The younger Troopers look up to Alexi, too!
Katie Holmes
Katie is always genuinely happy to be at the barn. We are impressed with her continuous effort to improve her ability to work with the horses. Katie is eager to learn new things and she always volunteers to help out!
Elizabeth Kenneally
Elizabeth is very helpful when it comes to tacking up beginners, getting hay done, and feeding the horses. She never complains about the job she’s been assigned, and even takes on extra work if there are tasks that need to be completed. Thank you, Elizabeth!!

Emma is always more than willing to help out around the barn in any way she can. She is respectful, gets her jobs done in a timely manner, and sets a great example for other troopers!
Conal Mueller
Conal is the fearless leader for the Sunday barn shift! With his perseverance and infectious sense of humor, Conal keeps the younger cadets on track, ensuring that everyone is having fun and learning new things. By keeping everyone motivated through the long Sunday shift, Conal is developing a new generation of hardworking, committed kids.
Cassie Warren
Cassie is a hard worker and an eager learner who is always ready to help others. She has a fun personality that makes everyone smile and laugh right away. Cassie’s love of Riley is infectious and she smiles her way through all jobs, no matter how gross!

Paige is an invaluable member of the Monday second shift barn day. She is always the first to volunteer to help a beginner tack up, or to help another trooper finish their job. Kate Barnard
Kate is such fun to have around the barn. She always works hard and with so much energy! Kate happily helps out as much as she can – on Saturdays, she is great aiding Troopers during their lessons, and she loves working with her fellow Troopers on barn day (especially if Madison is involved!).
Ellie Lyon
Ellie has really stepped up this year within the barn. She helps manage the younger troopers on her barn day, and with relatively little assistance, Ellie makes the barn look great. Ellie often stays to help with second shift even though she’s just finished a full shift. Ellie never needs to be asked twice to do a job and is an all-around team player!
Brynn McClymont
Brynn is always the first to volunteer to help with the younger lessons. She is extremely helpful and is an excellent leader. Brynn willingly stays in the ring to help no matter what the weather, is always polite and respectful, and is a key member of Sunday barn days. Along with Annie, Brynn gives hay outside without being asked. Thank you, Brynn!
Annie Salvi
Annie is a tremendous help on Sunday barn days. She does all her jobs willingly, and does jobs – such as giving hay outside – on her own, without being asked. Annie puts extra effort into everything she does. I’m not sure what we would do without her on Sundays! Great job, Annie!
Camryn Sung
Camryn was nominated because of her amazing attitude and willingness to work. Camryn is always welcoming and full of enthusiasm, and she models the outline for a dedicated trooper! Camryn steps in without hesitation to help others, too!
Margot Tucker
Margot is hilarious and hardworking. You will never catch Margot without a smile on her face and she is always more than willing to lend someone a helping hand. Karey is always very responsible and never, ever complains! She genuinely loves doing whatever work is needed on barn day. Karey is also always willing to water, and this is a HUGE help, especially during the winter. Awesome job, Karey!

What a year it has been! NCMT celebrated 75 years of bringing horsemanship and so much more to thousands of lucky, hardworking, incredible young people. Mother Nature tried very hard to keep us from showing up every day, and troopers were asked to work extra hard to keep things running smoothly. We could not have had such an awesome year without our fabulous seniors!! We just cannot thank you enough. This is our tribute to our FOUR AMAZING SENIORS!!!
Maddie Bernstein
Maddie is one of our most energetic and enthusiastic troopers! She puts a lot of effort into making your day feel special; Maddie’s big smile and great sense of humor are two things we will really miss next year. She is a super hard worker who has always been very committed to NCMT. Maddie loves helping younger troopers and volunteers for as much as she can with the TLC. Good luck next year, Maddie, you will be missed!!
Devin McLean
Devin is seemingly always at the barn, willing to help out whenever she can, ready to teach younger troopers the skills she has learned throughout her time at NCMT. Devin is very funny and makes the barn a special place to be! She has a real talent for connecting with troopers of all ages. Senior year is such a busy time, but Devin never gave up and showed us all what it is to be responsible. We will be very sad to say goodbye to Devin!!
Hanna Vossler
Hanna was new to TLC but made quite an impression! Hanna’s work ethic is incredible and we all noticed what a natural leader she is. Hanna is also a talented rider and one of the nicest troopers at the barn. need more here
Margot Tucker
Finally, we are in awe of Margot, our fearless leader and one of the calmest, most hard-working Cadet Majors we have ever had!! Margot is a great mentor, a super friend and it is impossible not to have a smile on your face when you spend time with her. She welcomes everyone at the barn and is very fun to be around! Margot worked non-stop organizing events for Troop and gave countless hours of her time without complaint. Margot has served as a compassionate, understanding, hilarious and amazing role model for all of us! We will miss you so much!!!

Mia always works extremely hard during barn day and is super fun to work with. We can count on Mia to be one of the first to volunteer for a new job, especially if it involves helping out another Trooper or watering! Mia has a great attitude about everything she does even if there are some jobs that might not be very favorable!
Alexi Goodman
Alexi is essential to Monday barn day and she cheerfully and willingly works more hours than necessary. She is always happy to help beginners tack up and get ready for their lessons, and Alexi patiently teaches them about the horses as well. Thank you, Alexi, for your non-stop devotion to NCMT!
Libby Hinshaw
Libby is one of the hardest working Troopers on her barn day. She is always willing to help and to teach others, whether it is during lecture or during barn day. Libby’s willingness to help out with any job or with any horse and her eagerness to learn more about horses are just two of the many things everyone likes about her.
Katie Mitrakis
Katie is a wonderful worker on barn day and is an excellent role model to her fellow Troopers. She is so much fun to be around and is a great addition to Friday barn day. The horses are as happy to see Katie each week as we are! Keep up the great work, thank you, Katie!
Holly Silva
Holly is an extremely hard and determined worker who can always make a room light up with her friendly and outgoing personality. She is always the first one to volunteer to do an unwanted job or to help show a new Trooper around. Holly not only sets a great example for other Troopers, but she shows us how a real Trooper should work and act, on and off the horse.

Emma Cody is a wonderful addition to Friday barn days! She is a hard worker who stays focused throughout barn day and is always willing to help new and younger Troopers learn anything from hoof picking to watering to blanketing. Congratulations Emma and keep up the great work!
Harper Judleson
Harper Judleson is a dedicated Trooper who enjoys her time at the barn. She always volunteers to stay after her Friday lesson and help with barn work, even though it’s not her barn day. Harper is a hard worker and we love the extra help on Fridays! Thank you, Harper!
Katherine Kenneally
Katherine is super nice and she worked doubly hard at the recent Trooper Night to make costumes for the Halloween Carnival. When a Captain was unable to make it to Trooper Night, Katherine stepped right in to help make the costume even though it wasn’t her mentor group. She stayed late and was the last one working on the costume. This exemplifies Troop teamwork!
Alexis Rodgers
Alexis is very focused and hardworking and is a great help on her barn day. She efficiently completes each and every task asked of her, and is always asking what else she can do. Alexis is always willing to lend a helping hand, especially with our youngest troopers. Thanks, Alexis!
Isabella Speranza
Isabella is very cheerful and is a huge help on barn day. She brightens your day when you see her because she always says hello, how are you. Isabella is always happy and very motivated to do anything even if it’s gross. We love Isabella’s awesome attitude!

Demetria Dresser
Although Demetria just recently joined Troop, she has caught on so quickly. It is amazing how much information Demetria has retained within her short time of being here! Demetria is also very responsible, always making sure to do a great job grooming, tacking up, untacking, and cleaning her tack while staying focused and productive on barn day. Welcome to Troop, Demetria, and keep up the amazing work!!
Laura Haley
Laura is super hardworking and focused during barn day and has a great attitude. She also has stepped up to take on a leadership role on her barn day and has succeeded in getting all of the jobs done. No matter what the task, Laura cheerfully does it and inspires others by always looking to see what else needs to be done. We really appreciate everything that you do, Laura!
Katie Holmes
Katie encourages so many of her friends in her lesson and has great sportsmanship! She always offers to help when someone needs it, and is both respectful and kind towards everyone during her barn day. Katie always shows up with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Lucie Bohnsack
We really appreciate Lucie’s sweet demeanor and positive attitude. Lucie is always happy to do whatever job is assigned to her and she makes a real effort to do her job well. Lucie always pays attention during lecture and shows up ready to learn. Lucie is very mature and responsible – an all-around great Trooper!

Nate is one of our most reliable Troopers! Nate shows up for barn days ready to work and he takes on every task willingly. We love Nate’s work ethic and his attitude that everything is an opportunity to learn and to improve. Thanks for setting such a good example, Nate!
Elizabeth Dedon

Alex is not afraid of hard work! She shows up ready to do every single job that needs to be done and is always asking what’s next on the list. Alex often stays long after her shift is over so that she and her sister can help close up. She is dedicated to learning all she can about equine care, too. Anna Herbig
Like her sister, Anna is prepared to do whatever is needed on her barn day. Anna is excited to do jobs that not everyone is willing to do, such as watering in the middle of winter or staying late to close up in the dark. It is also great that Anna is willing to learn as much as she can about caring for horses. We all appreciate Anna’s great attitude.
Sydney Mashia
Sydney is incredibly helpful, always stays on task, and is great at motivating others to stay focused, too! Sydney often stays to complete a second shift on her barn day, and she was awesome on a recent Friday when there were three new Troopers on second shift. She took the time to show a new Trooper how to organize Roma pads and helped start everyone off right!
Mary Grace Thomas
Mary Grace is a key member of her barn day. Everyone loves to be around Mary Grace because of her positive attitude and willingness to work hard. Mary Grace never turns down a job and brings out the best in all those around her.
Gillian Thompson
Gillian is an extremely friendly Trooper who makes sure nobody is ever left out. Instead of waiting to be told to do something, when Gillian sees that someone needs help or a job needs to be done, she steps right in and gets to work. Gillian is a huge help on her barn day!

Kate Barnard
Kate is extremely hard working and is always happy to be at NCMT. She eagerly volunteers to help with the beginner lesson and enjoys passing her knowledge on to the beginners, which gives them lots of confidence. Kate is very cheerful when she comes to the barn and makes everyone around her happy too! Awesome job Kate!
Annie Harrigan
Annie has a very willing attitude and always does jobs without complaint, even when her fellow barn day members are not able to come. She stays focused and does her best to keep everyone else motivated and on track. Annie also comes to barn day with great stories and facts to tell us all!
Lauren Hanny
Over the course of Lauren’s time at Troop, she has proven herself to be a confident leader and an essential Captain and member of her Saturday barn day. This past January and February, Lauren selflessly stepped up to the plate to help out a fellow Trooper. She subbed for our Cadet Major on both Friday barn day shifts while she was recovering from a concussion. Lauren is consistently a reliable Trooper, mentor, and Captain and her hard work is very much appreciated. Thank you so much, Lauren!!!
Chris Joyce
Chris is a fantastic Captain, mentor, and role model at NCMT. He somehow manages to make juggling school, lots of time around horses and Saturday barn day Captain’s responsibilities seem easy. Chris also volunteers to help on Thursday second shift barn day every week and is one of our more resourceful barn day leaders. Chris’ hard work, leadership, and dedication to Troop are extremely admirable. Keep up the amazing work, Chris! It’s certainly paying off!!
